Today, the W&M News covered the visual identity project, drawing a clear connection between the committee’s work and the university strategic plan.
The piece offers a nice summary of our efforts to date. Thanks, Suzanne.

Actually, Lord Botetourt, we intentionally did not use visual elements that represented William & Mary on our blog. There were so many options to choose from (we have a lot of logos in use) that we didn’t want to appear to be endorsing a particular one.
I find it very ironic that a committee charged with updating the Visual Identity at The College uses a blog that is void of any visuals (at least on the main page) and uses a color palate of blues (ODU?) instead of green, gold or silver.
I work for a company with 98% brand awareness. Brand image is everything. Good luck with your work.
